Obituary of Aidan Wayne LaPierre

South Hadley- Aidan Wayne LaPierre entered eternal rest on April 7, 2023 at the age of 1 year, 1 month, and 20 days. Born on February 15, 2022, Aidan came into this world with soft blond hair and big blue eyes. From birth, he had a smile that would captivate others and bring happiness to all who witnessed the pure, innocent joy of his spirit. Though he was small, his heart was full of endless love that was both given and received by family and friends. Aidan was born in Bringham and Women's hospital in Boston and was diagnosed with a chromosomal heart defect at birth. He received the most compassionate care at Boston Children's Hospital and he was a warrior throughout his battle. Aidan loved the Mickey Mouse Club and Cocomelon. His favorite songs were "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "You Are My Sunshine".
Aidan was greeted at the pearly gates with open arms by his grandmother and great grandparents who will take the greatest care of him until he reunites with those left behind. He will be dearly missed by his parents, Joseph and Samantha (Vieu) LaPierre. As well as his grandparents, Donna and Wayne LaPierre, and Phil and Gail Lizotte. He will forever remain in the hearts of his many aunts, uncles, and extended family members. 
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14th from 9:30-11:30am at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Aidan's Funeral Mass will be held on April 14th at 12:00pm at St. Theresa of Lisieux Church in South Hadley. Burial will be held privately at the family's discretion. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Aidan's memory to the Boston Children's Hospital so they may continue caring for children in the same way that was provided to Aidan.
