Obituary of Dolores Jasiewicz

Dolores A. Jasiewicz, 80, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at her home with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Walter F. Jasiewicz in 2016 and her brother Daniel Krawiec. She is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Kapinos and her husband Joseph of South Hadley.

Dolores was born in Holyoke and raised in Chicopee, the daughter of the late Andrew and Amelia (Strzepek) Krawiec, before moving to South Hadley where she graduated from South Hadley High School. She married the love of her life Walter in 1965, then moved to Granby in 1970. Dolores went to work for Hano Business Forms performing general office duties and continued to work with the company for 47 years working her way up to an Executive Assistant until her retirement. Once she and Walter both entered their Golden Years, they purchased a camper and drove across the United States with their dear friends staying in Florida, Arizona and California during the winter months. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, exploring the country, taking bus trips to Foxwoods Casino but most of all spending time with her family. All who knew Dolores will miss her dearly.

All are invited to her calling hours on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 4-7pm at Beers and Story Funeral Home, 646 Newton Street, South Hadley, MA.  Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 10am in the funeral home followed by burial at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Chicopee, MA.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in Dolores' memory to the charity of your choice.
