Obituary of Rebecca Ann Shorette

Monson- Rebecca Ann "Becky" Shorette, 61, passed away December 19, 2022. She was born on December 27, 1960 in Palmer to the late Francis T. and Marjorie (Shortsleeve) Baldyga. Becky was currently working for the Department of Developmental Service as a Direct Care Specialist, a career in which she loved. Blessed with a "green thumb", Becky was an avid gardener. She also enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her family and her dog, Libby. Besides her parents, Becky was predeceased by her sister, Pamela Ring. She will be dearly missed by her two children, Angela Shumway and husband Cory, and Nathan Shorette; husband, Gary Shorette; granddaughter, Sophia Shumway; sister, Mary Ann Baldyga; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. A period of visitation will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2022 from 9:30-11:30am at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A Graveside service will immediately follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
