Obituary of Delores A. Snook

Palmer- Mrs. Delores A. Snook, formerly of Lynn, died October 12, 2022 after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Robert J. Snook. Born in Lafayette, IN, daughter of the late Clarence O. and L. Maxine (Edwards) Turner, she was raised by her father and stepmother, Dorothy M.(Guiney) Turner. She was a graduate of Dayton High School, class of 1955, and New England Bible Institute, and had been a resident of Lynn since 1978 and Palmer since 2013. Delores was employed at North Shore Christian School as a receptionist and secretary for over 14 years until her retirement. She was previously employed at New England Color Lab for 3 years and Hilltop Steakhouse in Saugus for 10 years as cashier and hostess along with working part time at Cuffe McGinn Funeral Home. She was the church secretary at First Assembly of God in Lynn and took great enjoyment in gardening and crocheting. Delores leaves two sons, Master Sgt. Dennis L. Snook, USMC, of Palmer and Ronald J. Snook of Billerica along with four sisters, Karen Crabtree of IN, Beverly Shaw of MO, Lorna Moore and Norma Lawton of IN. She also leaves seven grandchildren, Sandra T., Kenneth J., Savanah N., Jacob R., Lynne M., Violet K., Lila A., and three great grandchildren, Antonio, Leonard and Chloe. Her two brothers, Jerry and Randy Turner, both predeceased her. A graveside service will be held Monday, October 17th at 10:00 am at St. Anne's Cemetery in Three Rivers.
