Obituary of Arthur C. North, Jr.

Arthur C. North, Jr., 84, of Palmer, MA passed away peacefully July 8, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 28, 1937 in Monson, MA to Arthur C, Sr. and Mary (Rauh) North. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Deborah (Murray) North of Palmer. He is survived by four children, Arthur R. North and wife Laurie of Monson, Robin Allen and husband Frank of Monson, Rodney North and wife Susan of Palmer and Tracy Kroll and husband John of Palmer. He will also be missed by 7 grandchildren, Nicholas, Tyler, Payton, Brandon, Alec, Brittany, Ryan, and great granddaughter, Grayce. He is survived by one sister Barbara McCaughy of Florida. Besides his parents he was predeceased by four siblings, Evelyn, Richard, Beatrice and Daniel. Arthur was raised in Monson and attended Springfield Trade School. Arthur has lived in Palmer for 63 years. He retired from ADS in Ludlow where he worked as a truck driver for 17 years and previously worked for WJ Hastings in Palmer for many years. Arthur enjoyed spending time with his family, creating various woodworking projects, and riding around the mountain on his Ranger ATV. He will be greatly missed by his family. The only thing that was difficult was the goodbyes and tears at the end. All services will be private.
