Obituary of Judith A. Kenney

Wilbraham—Judith “Judy” (Krawczyk) Kenney, 74, a long-time resident of Wilbraham, Ma died peacefully on Monday, July 12, 2021, with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Chicopee, Ma on April 22, 1947 to the late Ignatius and Frances (Piela) Krawczyk.

     She graduated from the Elms College and went on to earn a Master’s Degree from American International College. Judy was a dedicated elementary school teacher in the Chicopee Public School System for 34 years, retiring in 2003. Judy had a great love for any and all animals, volunteering her time to the Concerned Citizens for Animals for many years. In her spare time, she loved antiquing with her husband and proudly collecting vintage post cards.

     Judy leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband and best friend of 52 years, Bruce A. Kenney of Wilbraham, MA; her sister, Mary Peck of NY and her daughter Kathryn Peck; her brother-in-laws Mark Kenney of Greensboro, NC, Wayne Kenney and his wife Dianna of West Springfield, MA and two very special friends, Paula Kenney of Springfield, MA and Theresa A. Szkolt of Chicopee, MA; as well as several loving nieces and nephews. Judy also leaves behind her dog and loyal companion, Butch.

     Her husband would like to thank the staff at Baystate Medical Center and Life Care of Wilbraham for all the kindness and consideration shown to Judy during her illness.

Services for Judy will be private and at the convenience of the family.
