Obituary of Edward J. Dembkowski
Palmer—Edward (Zeke) J. Dembkowski, 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 2, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center. Son of the late Frank and Mary (Palewoda) he was born in Three Rivers, MA on November 14, 1933 and graduated from Palmer High School. He went on to proudly serve his county in the United States Army.
Zeke will be dearly missed by all who knew him, including his loving wife of 66 years Elizabeth (Benoit) Dembkowski; his children Steven (Mary) Dembkowski of Palmer, Susan (David) French of NH, and Sandra (Gary) Leecock of Palmer; his grandchildren Matthew, Erin, Marc, Christopher, Megan, Adam and Ali; his great-grandchildren, Gabbie and Max; as well as many extended family members and friends. In addition to his parents, Zeke is predeceased by his three brothers and sister.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home,1475 N Main St. Family and Friends are invited to meet at the funeral home the following morning on Friday, April 9 at 8:45am for a funeral procession to Divine Mercy Parish, 2267 Main St, Three Rivers with a Liturgy of Christian Burial beginning at 10am. Rites of Committal and Interment to immediately follow in St. Anne’s Cemetery.
