Obituary of Leonard D. McKinstry II

West Warren- Leonard D. McKinstry II, 74, passed away March 31, 2021. He was born on February 25, 1947 in Southbridge to the late Leonard and Lorraine (Vincent) McKinstry. Leonard graduated from Charlton High in 1966 where his interest in agriculture began to blossom. He enjoyed watching professional sports, playing card games with friends and family and loved to travel, living in many states within the U.S. to include Hawaii, California, and Kentucky. Leonard moved to West Warren in 2015. He frequently visited the W. Warren Senior Center where he made many lasting friendships. His family will always remember him as being hard working and always willing to help others. He loved nature and animals and was known in his family to be an amateur arborist. Leonard will be forever missed by his siblings, Joyce Bressem; Karen Gauthier and husband, Marc; Michael McKinstry and wife, Nancy; Jospeh McKinstry; Neal McKinstry and wife, Connie; and Glenn McKinstry and husband, Steven; as well as 20 nieces and nephews. Leonard's services will be held privately and at the family's convenience.
