Sylvie, Sarah & Danielle - I was so, so sorry to hear of Carl's passing. He hired me into Dow Jones when I was only 26 or 27 years old and was my manager and mentor for many years. Carl always brought a sense of calmness and fun into the workplace that helped keep things light and productive. We built a lot of good things over those years and I look back on them fondly. We had fun outside of the workplace as well, tennis, golf, dinners. I remember one special evening that you hosted on Bridle Path that was catered by some very fancy white glove catering company. I don't even remember was we were celebrating, but the food and service was over the top and we made the most of it! If I look back on all the most kind, genuine and fun people I've known over my life, Carl is high up in that small group. 77 is too soon to be gone, but I know there is more laughter in Heaven as a result. And I know Carl will call out any "cock-a-roach" that slights him up there in the least. My deepest condolences to you and Carl's entire extended family. I hope in time, you're able to smile and laugh at all the love and a life well lived. Rich Willis

Carl was one of the kindest, funniest men we have ever known. Our dinners, solving the problems of the world, reliving travel adventures with him and Sylvie were the highlight of the month for us. We feel blessed that we were able to share so many good times with him. We will miss Carl and keep him in our thoughts and prayers.
With our deepest sympathy.

Uncle you are going to be terribly missed. All the memories that I have I will cherish everyday. You were always there for me and we always had a great time when we were together. I enjoyed every moment. From sleepovers, travels and torturing Auntie with her cooking. LOL You were always understanding and lived life to the fullest with no worries in the world. You an Pops will always be in my heart and always remembered. Rock those skies together and now I know I have two wonderful men looking after me. Until we meet again.
Love you lots,
Jen
