Obituary of August J. Breault
South Hadley-August Breault, 90, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Baystate Medical Center with his wife, Margaret "Peggy" by his side. He was born in Holyoke on August 16, 1930, son of August and Mary (Desautels) Breault. "Augie" spent his childhood in the flats of Holyoke. He was very proud and enjoyed telling many stories of the time he spent with his childhood friends, which in turn remained lifelong friends. Augie proudly served his country in the US Navy and retired from Monsanto, where he had many longtime co-worker friends as well. Augie enjoyed traveling and spending time with his wife and was a communicant of St. Patrick's Church. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Breault, and two daughters, Sue Napolitano and husband Bob of Florida and Pam Dumais and husband Omar of Florida.
His love of life will be remembered by all who knew him. Visitation will be held Monday, October 19th from 4:00-6:00 p.m . at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. Friends and family may gather Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. to process to a Funeral Mass at St. Patrick's Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
