Nick Cosmos posted a condolence

The Cosmos family extends their condolences to the entire Marcotte family on the passing of Bryan. His Involvement in and dedication to his Holyoke community was his lifelong calling card as passed on to him from his father Al Marcotte. In 1953 my father Nick Cosmos, became director of the Holyoke Boys Club. This began a 50 year relationship with the Marcotte family until he passed away in 2003. Bryan with his son Mike in tow continued the Marcotte tradition of community involvement with the Holyoke Boys and Girls Club until today. His presence and beaming smile will be missed by all who new him. Nick Cosmos Jr.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of Bryan's family., No words can express my sadness at Bryan's passing. He has left us too soon, and has taken some of the brightness and goodness of the world. He was indeed a special man who loved and cherished his family. I have known Bryan since he was 9 years old and he was always a great young man who grew up to be the kind, compassionate, gentle man he was, Yes he was a great businessman, but he was kind, caring and giving and always thought of others. Everyone who was lucky enough to know Bryan will feel his loss. I know my world has lost some of it's light.

So sorry to hear of Bryan's passing. He was the ultimate gentleman and had the biggest heart. He always greeted you with a big smile and a very warm handshake. He truly made you feel at home at the Dealership. The world is definitely going to be a lot less friendly without Bryan in it. We are honored to have had the opportunity to know Bryan and so many of the Marcottes. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Carlene and your wonderful family.
Be well, Sandra and Barry

I have to say that Bryan Marcotte (and Ernie Manfredini) were an integral part of forming my business ethics
I walked in there as an 18-year-old snot nose selfish kid asking for a job and a demo in a dealership where the average sales person was at least 30 years older than me and have been working there for at least 15 years!
For one reason or another Bryan saw something in me and decided to give me a chance as a sales person.
What I learned in the following eight years proved to be invaluable to my career development.
I have carried with me to this day the values And ethics that I learned from this man and I am forever grateful

Bryan was one of the most generous, caring men I had the privilege of calling my friend. His family meant the most to him and I was fortunate to photograph he and his family many times. I was also privileged to photograph his favorite event of the year, the Marcotte Ford breakfast with Santa. Bryan loved seeing each employee's child be given a gift from Santa. He loved giving and did so gracefully.. Farewell my friend. We will miss you dearly.

I had the priviledge of knowing Al Marcotte when he first came to Holyoke, and in turn to know his son Brian...the proverbial apple didn't fall far from the tree of great community supporters. With Brian's passing, the City of Holyoke will have lost yet another good citizen. The Marcotte family's loss is our community loss, and herein kindly accept our condolences and heartfelt sympathies, as we pray for Bryan's family to find comfort and well being in this their time of need. God bless.
