Obituary of Lawrence Pelletier
Ware-Lawrence "Butch" Pelletier, 71, passed away suddenly at his home on March 6, 2020. Born in Holyoke on June 17, 1948, he was raised in Springfield by his mother and two aunts along with his two brothers and cousin. Butch proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps during Vietnam and has worked in the automotive industry for all of his life. For over ten years, he worked at Maaco as an auto body technician. Butch appreciated cars and enjoyed music of all kinds. He was a quiet man and enjoyed sharing his passion for fishing with his son, Chris. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 47 years, Linda (Morse) as well as their son, Christopher of Ware. Butch also leaves his dear granddaughter, Autumn Harnois of Palmer, brother, Ralph Pelletier of Chicopee, brother, David Pelletier of CA, close cousin, Mark Guindon of Hampden, and aunt, Kate Spada of Springfield. His mother-in-law, Mary and sister-in-law, Lori will also cherish his memory. Visitation will be Thursday, March 12th from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home with a service at 1:00 p.m.. Military honors and committal will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the MA Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriner's Hospital.
